The most common type is made of ¾-1″ thick thermoplastic. This plastic may be PVC, FRP (fibreglass-reinforced plastics), UFRP (ultra-high molecular weight-polyethene) or a composite lumber core/plastic skin construction. These doors have an aluminium face or aluminium frame with a clear finish to make it fire-resistant and easy to open and close.
